Diamond’s Second Annual SLCA fundraiser party,
hosted by The Front
Climbing Club on Thursday, May 4, 2006,
was a success and a great time for all who attended! The
afternoon began with a bouldering competition. As usual,
many strong and talented climbers showed up and cranked
through problems for nearly three hours—congratulations
to Portia Menlove and Noah Bigwood for finishing in first
place. Directly following the comp, beer began to flow
and the party started. Music was provided by a local bluegrass
band, followed by a DJ who played into the wee hours. Additional
funds were raised for the SLCA through a silent auction
and raffle.
We
