is a strong, versatile, high-mileage pole built for
comfortable and secure navigation across variable
terrain. Thanks to its elliptic shaft, the pole has
twice the fore and aft stiffness of round-shafted
poles. For increased comfort, the Contour Elliptic
features a 15-degree corrective angle, 360-degree
padded webbing, and ergonomic ovalized foam grip.
The pole’s dual FlickLock® adjustment is
efficient and simple to operate even with gloves
on…?in the dark…?in a rainstorm…?with
40-mph wind gusts. On the business end, the pole
comes outfitted with Long Flex Tips and easy-to-swap-out
trekking and powder baskets for year-round hiking
versatility. The Compact is a shorter, 125 cm version
with reduced grip size for smaller hands.
