Bionic Crampon Recall for Inspection Notice

Salt Lake City, Utah (March 24, 2003)—Black Diamond Equipment, LTD. in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, voluntarily announced a Return for Inspection of a specific manufacturing run of Bionic Crampons.

The limited manufacturing run of Black Diamond Bionic crampons can be identified by the four digit Date Code stamped on the center strap. (Date Codes 1360, 2235, and 2250). Bionic crampons with these Date Codes should be immediately returned to Black Diamond for inspection.
